This Week In the Classroom

| In math we compared numbers 0 - 20 using a number line. |

| The super-cold weather gave us many opportunities for indoor recess. |
 |
| Activity time had us practicing sight words with the 'POP' game |
 |
| and listening for ending sounds in the 'Ending Sound Star' game |
 |
| moving about the room in a Word Hunt |
 |
| Painting with Shaving cream, |
 |
| And of course, practicing reading! |
 |
| Bobcat Spirit Day - lots of RED! |
 |
| Today (Friday) in math we made a recipe. |
 |
| It called for yellow water and blue water. |
 |
| What will it make? |
 |
| Green water! |
 |
In the afternoon, Mrs. Helmkamp showed us how to
check out books by reading the QR codes with the iPads! |
 |
| Then we each got to try it! |
Then we began the work of sorting and arranging the books
in our library.
Other groups set up the check out counter and the Children's area.
