A Short Week

This week was a short one, but we managed to have some fun...

In math we practiced combining sets using dice and
Teddy Bear Counters.

During an impromptu indoor recess due to a funeral, these
boys constructed AATT Walkers from Star Wars. 

Donuts for Dads

Thank you to all the dads and grandpas who were able to join us for donuts and chapel on Wednesday morning.

Snowman Art

First we watched Raymond Briggs' The Snowman.

Then we designed and painted our own!

First Week of the New Year

On Monday, Mrs. Rutledge and some of the eighth grade Spanish Students came to teach us a little Spanish and read the weather books they'd written!

On Tuesday, we read with Mrs. Wegner.

Throughout the week, we enjoyed many center activities, many of them related to stars.
