Bye-bye Boxes

We said good-bye to our boxes today.  

Re-Using Boxes

After drawing numbers to assign boxes, each group had to plan what their box would be, and then write/draw 'direction' on how to make it.  A different group carried out their plan.  Here is what these creative kids came up with.

Baseball Day

Using the baseball theme, we practiced sight words, adding, counting by 5's and 10's, writing sentences, and telling time.  The highlight though, was THE GAME.

Despite the chilly weather, the BEARS managed to get a run and win the game...

...but the WOLVES gave them a run for their money!

Tubes!

To practice our knowledge of coins, we priced and paid for various sizes of tubes.  WOW!  They do come in all sizes!

Jellybean Day

Monday, April 8th was Jellybean Day!

We sorted jellybeans by color.

Next we graphed our findings.

The best part was choosing our own favorite combination!
