February is a short month but FULL of special days!
Monday we started by observing Abraham Lincoln's Birthday.
It was fun to compare our heights to Abraham Lincoln's 6'4" (or 7' if you include his hat)!
 |
We also learned a brief poem about Lincoln and colored his profile. These are for our Poetry Journals. |
On Tuesday, Pastor Reitz came to visit and share with us a bit about the ashes and Ash Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning we worshipped as an entire school and received the imposition of ashes.
We were given three choices: on the forehead, on the hand, or 'no thank you'.
