Thanksgiving Feast

Pilgrim Day and This and That

Did you ever wonder what lunch looks like?

Finley takes questions after doing her oral Book Report.

Thursday was Pilgrim Day. In the afternoon we got to help make cornbread muffins for the feast.

We also wrote about A Day in the Life of a Pilgrim Boy or Girl,

Played "Naughts and Crosses"

And made Pilgrim Hats!

Health Screening and Wampanoag Day

On Friday morning we had a quick-but-thorough health screening.

Spy training? No, vision testing! :-)

Everyone was weighed and measured.

And more vision testing...

and hearing screening.

Later in the day we mimicked the Wampanoag lifestyle with some activities like

The Log Hurl

 Making Headdresses

Playing the Bean Game

Stringing 'Beaded' Necklaces

This (Busy) Week

Here are a few of the learning activities we did this week.

Observing Veteran's Day - Kindergarten Style

Assembling a world map

This and That

Muffins for Moms

It was great to see so many moms on Wednesday morning. Several were even able to join us for Chapel. Here are a few I caught on camera!
