The Kapers

Kindergarten Kapers

Vol. 31

Thank You

Thank you for the many egg donations for our Easter Egg Hunt.  The snow pushed it indoors, but we had fun just the same.

Thanks, too, for getting all the Field Trip permission forms turned in.  I should have driver information for you when we return to school.

Easter Blessings

I wish you all a rich and meaningful observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and a joyous Easter celebration! May God also grant you refreshment during Easter Break. I will see you all on April 8^th.

                     Yours in Christ,

                     Mrs. Cheryl Lail

For the week of April 8^th :

The Day Before Easter Break

Working on our memory art

What is your solid shape snack? Sphere (grape)? Cheese cube?
Cone? Sausage cylinder?

Watching the Holy Week portion of the Jesus Movie

Finding eggs in the gym

Colorful kids with colorful eggs

Foot Washing

After making footprints of paint...

we practiced being servants, helping one another...

just like the example Jesus set for His disciples when He washed their feet.

The King of Ing

We have been playing with the "ing" chunk all week! It is Spring after all! (Well, on the calendar at least.)

Grandparents' Day

The afternoon was full of Seuss-y activities

Reading - of course!

Measuring, with our feet.

Weighing Horton - with candy eggs.

Making a Hand-in-Hand souvenir.

Fun Friday Afternoon

It was Friday afternoon and time for some free-choice fun!

Color-block stacking is fun and pretty!

Bead-stringing is my choice.

Someone is getting walled in!

MDA Hop-a-Thon, 2013

This year's top hopper!

I've learned over the years that trying to get clear pictures of kindergarteners actually hopping, does not work very well.  Here are a few of our posed shots.

Another proud contributor

Hopping is fun!
